START
The Start venue will be from Hotel Rural El Corte which is on the Granada road (A-45) out of Malaga on the right. Simply go around the Malaga ring-road until you pick up the signs for Granada A-45. Exit at Km.127. Please note this is the old A-road, not the Autovia Peaje AP-46. See the map below.

Start time is 11.00AM but please arrive in time for registration and coffee etc. You will also collect your Roadbook for the trip here. The organisers will be providing Coffee or Tea with a pitufo of bacon or tomato etc for you.
Dress Code
There is no dress code for the evenings but we do ask for Smart Dress for the final dinner & party on the Thursday night.
Maps & Insurance
It is a very good idea to have maps available -just in case! The sheets to use are Michelin green sheet 124 (Costa del Sol) and Michelin Orange sheet 578 ( Espana Sur). You can get these at papelerías, some gasolineras and Corte Inglés. Personally, I get all my maps sent by Amazon. If you have ‘Prime’ you’ll get next-day delivery of these wonderful essentials!
It’s also a good idea to make sure you have a ‘Get you Home’ insurance for breakdowns etc. Most Spanish insurers have this included in their policies but, if you don’t have that, I recommend R.A.C.E. or Mapfre who give excellent services and provide much more than just breakdown recovery.
Briefings
We’ll have briefings each morning and whatever I’ve forgotten in this Bulletin we can go over at the Start on the Monday morning.
The Finish!
We depart Granada on the morning of Friday, October 03rd. We have super return route and will have lunch organised at La Bohemia in Coin to Finish. This is an optional lunch but we do hope that everyone will join the spirit of the event and come to this. We’ll send out a menu in a few days time and collate numbers and choices etc before the Start.
